What started out as MoCo PG News in February of 2021, the news feed was rebranded to DMV News Live in January of 2024. It has reached tremendous growth: as of March 18th, the page has 27,100 followers on X and 63,000 followers on Instagram, gaining new followers every day.

Believe it or not, DMV News Live is a one-man operation at the moment. However, we are hoping to hire a virtual assistant in the coming days as well as employees over the summertime. DMV News Live works with other news reporters and pages, and closely with police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and  members of the community. We are always looking for help!

Our Mission

Our Mission

At DMV News Live, our mission is to inform residents and workers in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia of breaking news and crime as it happens. DMV News Live is the #1 source for unfolding incidents. Some first responders have said they get info from my feed quicker than from their own dispatchers or PIOs!

News Tips can be texted in to 202-579-9396 and will remain anonymous unless you state otherwise. I try to monitor my Instagram & Twitter DMs, but get flooded with messages, so it will take longer for me to see it.  If you are a first responder, please use the WhatsApp contact feature for safer encryption. (will remain 100% anonymous, only used if HIPAA compliant)
